the shoot
In 2026, the workshop became a film set. The young people filmed with a camcorder, on their phones and on super 8: the sunset over the city, the graffiti alley, the corner shop, the football pitch through the wire fence, the steps, the night. Everyone takes a turn behind the camera, on the microphone and in front of the lens.
the reel
The black-and-white super 8 reel, just as it came back from the lab: just over three minutes, at eighteen frames per second. Houses, buses, neighbours laughing, a match, steps, the crew at the viewpoint, portraits in the tienda, the bakery windows.

memory
In front of the young people’s camera, the elders tell the story of the neighbourhood: oral history is one of the film’s raw materials.
the museum-archive
With the residents of Golondrinas, we want to set up a community museum-archive: gathering family photographs, recordings of the elders, the children’s images since 2024, the posters and the film rushes; digitising them, keeping them in the neighbourhood and showing them at the junta and on the walls. A living archive that the neighbourhood keeps, adds to and looks at.
